Shadow dragon ref

Recently she mentioned to me that she'd like to give drawing Shadow's dragon form a shot, but was holding off because I was revamping him. Well, I had this sketch sitting around in my sketchbook so I scanned it. It looked a bit bland though so I thought I would colour it before posting.

Then I realised that the tail wasn't on full view in the pic, so I did a sketch of that, then decided to do a top view of him.

The top view's really more for my benefit than for River's, since I figured I really need to have a solid number of scales running along his back (Til this point, it was just a random number based on how many I could fit along his body in the picture)

River, if the scales on the top view are difficult to see, let me know and I'll email you the uncoloured version ^^
