Tut: Cleaning scanned lineart.

Description

Since I hit 6k recently I couldn't think what to do for a kiriban, so, since a couple of people asked me about it, I figured I'd do a tutorial of how to colour scanned linearts without having to trace over all the lines in Photoshop.

This Tutorial was done using Photoshop CS2 and should also work for CS and CS3 as well

Unfortunately Photoshop Elements does not seem to have the options to do this and I'm afraid I have no experience in other art programs, although Open Canvas 4.5e Plus does seem to have the levels adjustment, but I don't think it has the channels tab.

But anyway, I'm allowing downloads on this for people to save for future refs, but please only save by clicking the download button, not by right clicking. If you right click it will save as a blank file.

Enjoy! :D And thank you everyone, for all the Pageviews!

Tutorial put together by me using images drawn by me (Except for the screenshot of L holding a piece of paper) using guidelines I in turn learnt from the book "The Art of Drawing Manga" by Ben Krefta
